However, I am very aprehensive to edit my blog 2 as i had a lot of trouble uploading it this morning and every time i went to edit it it times out or didnt save or didnt upload after making the changes.

Maybe you could try reposting your references in a separate blog post and link to it. Just a thought.
Not sure if this will help, but I've found Blogger seems to work best using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.
